I logged in this morning to see that pictures were showing up in Oppo again — hooray! But now, they've once again disappeared. I'm sad. :(

Here's what would be helpful:

The name of the content filter/firewall your workplace uses

Right click the browser area and choose 'Inspect Element'

Select 'Console'

Refresh page

Screen shot of the entire console area after the refresh, so we can see what the response codes are

It would be even more helpful if you could ask the Network Admin why Cloudinary/i.kinja-img.com is blocked, though I'm guessing you probably don't want to do this unless you're really close with your admin.

Yes. I heard there was some kind of maleware bug on Kinja servers, so images were blocked for lots of folks. They reappeared a few days ago and worked just fine, now they're gone again.
